1Red Terms and Conditions: An Overview for Players

This overview explains in ordinary language the agreement behind a 1Red account. The other party is TESSERA LIMITED S.R.L., and the agreement starts when you register. Last updated: 15.01.2026 (Version 4.0); the complete English terms are the legally binding version.

Who you are entering into an agreement with

Who can open an account

To register you must be at least 18, or the higher age your local law sets, and you must not be a 1Red employee, an employee's relative or a self-excluded player. Only one account per player is permitted. The terms make it entirely your job to find out whether online gambling is lawful where you live, and to stay away if it is not.

Residents of these countries and their territories may not use the site: Angola, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic, Comoros, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curaçao, Cyprus, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dutch West Indies, Eritrea, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Greece, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jamaica, Jersey, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Netherlands, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Republic of the Congo, Russia, Rwanda, Saba, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Spain, Statia, St. Maarten, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America, Yemen and Zimbabwe. FATF-blacklisted states and jurisdictions prohibited by the Anjouan regulator are excluded too, and 1Red may change the list.

Your account: your responsibilities

Your account must carry your legal name and accurate, current information, and it is for your own private play only — not for business or for other people. It cannot be sold, transferred, gifted or pledged, nor can anything of value in it. Keeping your login details confidential is your responsibility, and 1Red offers two-factor authentication to help. Any tax on winnings under your local law is yours to settle.

Identity verification

1Red can ask at any point for evidence of your identity, age, address or the source of your funds, and always checks identity before paying out. Requested documents must be provided within 30 calendar days, after which the account is blocked from transactions until they arrive. Payouts can be held during checks, with processing time counted from approval, and forged documents can lead to confiscation of deposits and winnings.

Deposits and withdrawals

Deposits must come from payment methods in your own name; third-party payments may be returned to their owner and related winnings frozen. Deposits start at €20 and each withdrawal must fall between €30 and €10,000, with daily, weekly and monthly ceilings that depend on your total deposits (equivalents apply in other currencies). Deposits should be played through three times before withdrawal, or processing costs may be charged.

1Red may pay out by a method other than the one you choose and may refund card deposits to the card first. Wins above €30,000 can be split into monthly instalments, whereas progressive jackpots are paid in full. Chargebacks on legitimate deposits are not allowed. See our payments page.

Bonuses and promotions

Each promotion has its own conditions, which take priority over the general terms if they differ. Bonuses are never compulsory: you may decline one or cancel it later, losing only the bonus and what it won. Across offers, one bonus can be active at a time, stakes are capped while wagering (€5 unless stated otherwise), bonus winnings are withdrawable only after wagering, and each person, household, device and payment method gets one bonus. Bets, games and errors

By playing, you confirm you understand the rules of each game, which are available in its interface. Bets or payments confirmed in error may be cancelled or re-settled at the correct terms, and anything credited to you by mistake is reclaimed. If what you saw on screen differs from the game server's record — including at live tables — the server record decides.

What is not allowed

The terms prohibit multiple accounts (including those opened to reclaim bonuses), collusion, exploiting software errors, using scripts or third-party tools, match-fixing, low-risk roulette betting with equal stakes on red and black, chargebacks, paying with someone else's method, hiding your location to bypass restrictions and any commercial use of the account. Breaches can lead to suspension and confiscation of related funds and winnings.

Suspending and closing an account

An account can be suspended over missing documents, suspected fraud or duplication, and duplicates created for an unfair advantage are closed permanently. Support explains the options for a blocked account and handles requests to withdraw the remaining balance unless legal or factual reasons prevent it.

Both you and 1Red may close an account at any time. If you do not log in for more than 180 days, the account becomes dormant after 30 days' notice and a monthly fee of 10 USD or the equivalent may then be charged while it holds money.

Responsible gambling

Self-exclusion for a set period or permanently is requested by e-mail to [email protected]. It stops deposits, play, offers and withdrawals until reactivation, and lifting a permanent exclusion involves a 7-day cooling-off period. See our responsible gambling page.

Complaints and disputes

Complaints are e-mailed to [email protected] with the subject "Complaint", your details, a description and the dates. 1Red acknowledges them within 24 hours, corresponds in English and gives a written decision within 8 weeks. See our contact page.

Our liability

The service is an entertainment product provided "as is", and gambling can cost money. 1Red does not accept liability for losses from play, for problems with your equipment or connection, or for technical interruptions, including in live streams. It is not a financial institution: balances earn no interest, no exchange services are offered, and confirmed blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.

Governing law and changes to these terms

The terms are governed by Costa Rican law, and Costa Rica's courts have exclusive jurisdiction. 1Red may change the terms at any time; changes take effect on publication, and important ones are announced by e-mail or on the site where possible. Data handling is covered in our privacy policy.
